Dance Dance Revolution Kids (December, 2000) is a rare member of Konami’s Dance Dance Revolution series aimed for younger players. Released only in Japan, the cabinet uses unique hardware designed for children in mind lending to it’s smaller build. The game uses a note rating system from 1-4. The score system has been dropped entirely in DDR Kids.
The 11 song songlist ranges from a variety of licensed theme songs from popular Japanese children’s series such as Digimon and Pokemon, with the rest of the tracks coming from the main series.
The cabinet is incredibly rare, with the last known machine being accounted for back in 2009 and in the hands of an arcade collector.
